I am part of the Social Media and Communications Team at Perfectly Imperfect Pups, a local dog rescue in Raleigh, NC. I work directly under the Social Media Manager and often in collaboration with the Founder & Director to create social media, website, and promotional videos. For these videos, I often get sent a wide collection of footage from the rescue's dog fosters, attend events to capture my own footage, record voiceovers, and edit the videos.
I developed and implemented an Instagram Reels strategy that resulted in a significant increase in reach and follower count, achieving peak video views of over 500k, while improving interaction rates from 5% to 10-15%
My other contributions include editing press releases, creating graphics for social media, and collaborating with larger accounts to promote adoptable dogs.
I'm currently working to improve accessibility on the PIPs Rescue website.

Graphics & Info Sheets

This social media takeover guide was created to help PIPs dog fosters take photo and video content of their foster dogs for a "social media takeover day." The idea was to shine a spotlight on a specific dog and what a day in their life might look like.

This sheet was created and used to track Instagram analytics. It showed growth trends over about a year while specific social media strategies were being implemented.
